Suntory Foundation Grants for Groundbreaking Young Researchers

This grant is aimed at supporting young researchers who aspire to redefine the boundaries of scholarship in the fields of humanities and social sciences.

Applications are accepted from people of all nationalities, institutions, and places of residence, but application information and forms are provided only in Japanese and applications must be submitted in Japanese.

Eligibility

Young researchers under 35 years with individual research projects in the humanities and social sciences.

Grant amount

Up to 100 million yen per grant

Grant period

1 year (April-March)
