Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Shenzhen

The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, abbreviated as CUHK(SZ), is an institution of higher learning located in Shenzhen, China. It is the second campus of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), a public research university located in Shatin, Hong Kong. CUHK(SZ) was officially founded on 11 October 2012 and approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China (MoE) on 16 April 2014.

The School of Management and Economics (SME) of the new university enrolled its first batch of 315 undergraduate students in August 2014. In August 2015, the School of Management and Economics and the School of Science and Engineering (SSE) together enrolled 618 undergraduates. In early September 2015, the first batch of postgraduate students in the university started their academic programmes, among whom 45 students are from School of Humanities and Social Science (HSS) and another 37 students are from SSE. As of 2017, over 1000 undergraduates (including over 50 international students), and more than 350 postgraduates students are attending CUHK(SZ).
