AMS Short-Term Resident Research Fellowships

The American Philosophical Society's Library & Museum in Philadelphia invites applications for short-term residential research fellowships. These funding opportunities provide 1- to 3- months of support for researchers in residence and are open to scholars in all fields who show a demonstrated need to use the Library & Museum’s collections for their project. Approximately 25-30 short-term fellowships are awarded each year.

David Center for the American Revolution Short-Term Resident Research Fellowships

The David Center for the American Revolution at the American Philosophical Society's Library & Museum in Philadelphia invites applications for its short-term resident research fellowships. David Center Fellowships continue the 30-year tradition of the David Library awarding over 200 fellowships to scholars who have gone on to write hundreds of dissertations, academic articles, academic papers and books, and to teach at major institutions of higher learning worldwide, about the American Revolution and Founding Era.

ALLIANCE PROGRAM SHORT-TERM FACULTY EXCHANGE

The Alliance Program is calling for applications for short-term visiting professorships (1– 2 months) to Columbia University and Ecole Polytechnique. In the academic year 2024-2025., 4 positions will be offered:

Two faculty members from Columbia University will be selected to run a graduate seminar and deliver one public lecture in English at Ecole Polytechnique.

Two faculty members from Ecole Polytechnique will be selected to run a graduate seminar and deliver one public lecture in English at Columbia University.

GRANT NOTLEY MEMORIAL POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS

The Grant Notley Memorial Postdoctoral Fellowship is provided by donations from friends of Grant Notley, matched by the Province of Alberta.

The University of Alberta is committed to supporting diverse research environments for all scholars and is working to drive deeper cultural change in our research ecosystem. We encourage applications from diverse applicants. One Fellowship per year will be awarded for research in politics, history, economy, society, or related fields, of Canada, with preference given to research of Western Canada.

IZAAK WALTON KILLAM MEMORIAL POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP

The Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Postdoctoral Fellowship is provided annually from the Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Fund for Advanced Studies established through a bequest from the late Dorothy J Killam. The primary purpose of the programs is to support advanced education and research at five Canadian universities and the Canada Council for the Arts. The top ranked recipient will receive the Dorothy Killam Memorial Postdoctoral Fellow Prize, valued at $7,500.

The TUM Global Postdoc Fellowship 2023 offers up to 10 international young scientists the opportunity to conduct research with a host at TUM for up to 2 years within the framework of the fellowship and thus continue their career at TUM. All further information can be found below.
