Eligibility at a glance

  • PhD awarded within 5 years of the fellowship start date
  • Not holding a lectureship or intermediate fellowship
  • Open to UK and international applicants

Imperial welcomes researchers from all backgrounds and particularly encourages applications from underrepresented groups.

 

Key dates

  • Closing date for applications: Thursday 23 July 2026 (23:59 BST)
  • Review period: August to December 2026
  • Start date for fellowships: between 1 August 2027 and 1 December 2027
