UPITTSBURGH HUMANITIES CENTER VISITING FELLOWSHIP NOMINATION
Is there someone from beyond Pitt you would like to bring to campus either in-person or virtually in the next academic year to enrich the Humanities Center year-long themed conversations? (You can find out about our annual themes here.) If so, then please nominate a Visiting Fellow.
The Humanities Center Visiting Fellows program brings scholars, thinkers, and makers from beyond Pitt to campus in-person or virtually for a sequence of events. Visiting Fellows receive an honorarium of $1,000 to $2,000 depending on the number of events (plus any expenses associated with an in-person visit). See our invitation to nominate a Visiting Fellow here, where you’ll find details on what to submit and how your nomination will be assessed. We’re especially interested in creating synergies between our offerings and classes that colleagues are teaching. So, if you’d like to be able to bring a guest into one of your classes, this is a good way to do it. If you have any questions, please contact Carla Nappi (nappi@pitt.edu) and David Marshall (dlm91@pitt.edu).
