Citizen Science projects
Do you have a Citizen Science project idea and need financial support? Apply for a Seed Grant!
Once a year we award Seed Grants for the development or implementation of participatory Citizen Science projects. Teams of academic researchers and citizens can apply for up to 40'000 CHF.
With the Seed Grants, we want to create incentives for participatory research. Teams of academic researchers from University of Zurich or ETH Zurich and citizens are thus given the opportunity to jointly develop or implement participatory pilot projects. Priority is given to project applications that, in addition to the prospect of excellent research, show a societal need as well as a high degree of participation in as many phases of the research process as possible.

Call for submissions: Seed Grants 2024
The Seed Grant application period started on 30 November, 2023. Deadline for submission is 3 March 2024, 23:59. We organize two information events – one in German and one in English – where you can ask all your questions.

- CVs of main applicants (researcher and citizen)
