Researcher/ Project coordinator in the Albanian Institute for International Studies (AIIS)

The Albanian Institute for International Studies (AIIS), name in original Instituti Shqiptar i Studimeve Nderkombetare, is currently seeking to fill one position for Researcher/ Project coordinator (Tirana residency is required)

Tasks include:

• Desk and field research on various topics and for various projects (European integration, foreign policy, security issues, democratization and rule of law, etc)
• Assistance to Executive Director and Chairman for project coordination and public activities
• Public presentation of research in public events and media
• Representation of AIIS and its work in regional and international forums and events
• Other research related tasks assigned 

Qualities we are looking for:

• Post graduate degree (PhD/ M.A)
• Knowledge of research methodologies
• Excellent knowledge of Albanian and proficiency in English (students that have completed one degree in an English language instruction institution will have an advantage)
• Strong work ethics, team spirit
• Previous experience in similar positions is an asset
