Visiting Research Fellowships

Research Fellowships at the Institute are intended for academics or curators working on historic and contemporary sculpture, who can make particular use of our Research Library, Archive of Sculptors’ Papers and the Leeds Sculpture Collections.

Fellowships at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens are designed for researchers whose interests lie in Henry Moore specifically.

What’s included

Research Fellows will be given the opportunity to spend a month using our research facilities in Leeds or Hertfordshire.

An expenses allocation will be available to successful applicants to cover travel and subsistence costs according to your travel needs and location:
UK – up to £600
Europe – up to £700
Rest of world – up to £1,000

Additionally, we will provide accommodation in Leeds or Hertfordshire for the duration of the fellowship.

Please note that we’re not able to offer studio facilities for artists.
