France – Québec Joint Call for Proposals in the Humanities and Social Sciences
The French National Research Agency (ANR) and the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture (FRQSC) launch a bilateral call for proposals in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
The major objective of this joint call is to strengthen the collaboration between researchers from France and Québec and to fund excellent transnational research projects that could not be carried out outside of an international cooperation framework.
The call will support projects across three broad topics:
- Public policies and social innovations with regard to demographic changes
- Social and cultural transformation in the context of globalization
- SSH research in the digital era
Projects will have a maximum duration of 36 months. Funding will be provided to French applicants by the ANR within a maximum amount of 250 k€ per project. Funding will be provided to applicants from Québec by the FRQSC within a maximum amount of 200 000 CA$ per project.
Each partner of the consortium will be funded directly by its respective national funding organisation. Therefore all national regulations apply.
