Post-doctoral Research Fellowships In Romani Studies at CEU
Central European University (CEU) invites applications for two Postdoctoral Fellows in Romani Studies as part of the Roma in European Societies (RES) initiative. The fellowships are for one year. CEU’s Roma in European Societies is a collaborative initiative supporting efforts to improve the situation of Roma in all sectors at the local, national, and regional levels through teaching, course development and research, leadership development, and community outreach. RES is funded by the Velux Foundations, Roma Education Fund and the OSF Roma Initiatives Office. The Postdoctoral Fellows will pursue research in the area of social studies. The research is expected to be published and represent a significant contribution to the knowledge production on Roma. Preferably, the fellows will be based at CEU RES premises in Budapest. In case a selected applicant does not wish to relocate to Budapest, he/she will need external supervision from a qualified scholar in their field of research, affiliated with a university or research center. The fellow will need to submit a written agreement from a scholar regarding the supervision of its work as part of the application package.
