Technologies for first responders

Resilience is critical to allow authorities to take proper measures in response to severe disasters, both natural (including climate-related extreme events) and man-made. Innovation for disaster-resilient societies may draw from novel technologies, provided that they are affordable, accepted by the citizens, and customized and implemented for the (cross-sectoral) needs of first responders.

ArTeC Call for projects

ArTeC est une École Universitaire de Recherche consacrée à la Recherche-Création. Implantée sur les sites des universités Paris 8, Paris-Nanterre et du Campus Condorcet, elle accompagne les pratiques expérimentales qui s’appuient sur des gestes artistiques pour réinventer la recherche universitaire. ArTeC a pour objectif de promouvoir et d’articuler des projets de recherche et des dispositifs de formation relatifs aux domaines des arts, des technologies, du numérique, des médiations humaines et de la création.

PHC Pamoja┋Coopération scientifique franco-kenyane

La France et le Kenya souhaitent renforcer leurs activités de coopération pour l’enseignement supérieur et la recherche. Les deux pays ont signé, le 5 mai 2015, le partenariat Hubert Curien « PAMOJA », renouvelé le 6 octobre 2021 pour couvrir la période 2021-2026. Il est mis en œuvre au Kenya par le Ministère de l’Education à travers le National Research Fund (NRF), et en France par les ministères de l'Europe et des Affaires étrangères (MEAE) et de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche (MESR).

Anna Boyksen Fellowship in the Insitute for Advanced Study at the TU Munich

The Fellowship is named after Anna Boyksen, the first female engineering student at TUM (1906).

Target Group

Outstanding top-level female professors from outside TUM who intend to explore gender- and/or diversity-relevant topics in the context of the TUM subject portfolio together with a TUM research group are eligible for a TUM-IAS Anna Boyksen Fellowship. The proposal is to be submitted jointly by the nominee and the planned TUM-IAS host.

ERC Starting Grants

The ERC Starting Grants are designed to support excellent Principal Investigators at the career stage at which they are starting their own independent research team or programme. Principal Investigators must demonstrate the ground-breaking nature, ambition, and feasibility of their research proposal.
