In partnership with Sorbonne University, the Paris Institute for Advanced Study is offering a 10-month chair or two 5-month chairs for high level international researchers in the humanities and social sciences (HSS) during the academic year 2020-2021.

The EFEO is offering 2 post-doctoral contracts for 2024

Position profile: candidates will work in the fields of Humanities or Social sciences relating to the Civilisations of the countries of Indianised or Sinicised Asia. Projects involving centres and researchers from the École française d'Extrême-Orient are encouraged. Mobility is not a requirement. 

Knowledge of one or more Asian languages will be appreciated in order to work on primary sources. 

The Smart Loire Valley Programme aims to support high-quality research and international collaborative research projects, to build human capacity and scientific knowledge for research, development and innovation by attracting talented, highly qualified researchers worldwide and from all academic disciplines. Researchers have to embody, in their profile, the key words that capture the research values of LE STUDIUM: Curiosity, Imagination and Intuition. The annual call for applications is open from October each year to January the next year.

This call is specifically addressed to fellows holding a doctorate degree delivered by a non-French institution. Candidates promoting an original and innovative research project in one of the scientific priorities of IdEx université de Bordeaux will be considered with particular attention.

Applications are open to all scientific fields. However, IdEx université de Bordeaux is built on a number of scientific priorities and proposals in these areas or at the interfaces between them will be examined with particular attention. Candidates bringing new skills to develop emerging research areas and researchers with an industrial background are welcome to apply.

The Junior Research Fellowship Program aims at jumpstarting the career of young Thai researchers by giving them the opportunity to develop promising collaboration with their French counterparts.

This program supports Thai post doctorates, graduated in 2014 or after, who are lecturers or researchers in public or private institutions intending to conduct a research project of two (2) to six (6) months within a French laboratory. All fields of research will be considered and the selection will be made based on the criteria of excellence.
