CY Initiative of Excellence brings together CY Cergy Paris Université and ESSEC Business school, to create one of the 17 French Universities of Excellence, selected by the French government.  

CY Cergy Paris Université is a multidisciplinary teaching and research university located just outside of Paris, created in January 2020. It is the result of a merger of several French academic institutions: the University of Cergy-Pontoise, EISTI School of Engineering, Paris Seine University, and the close partnership of ESSEC Business School.

Cette année, le CNRS ouvre 53 nouveaux postes de chaires de professeur junior accompagnés d’un « package d’entrée » et donnant vocation à la titularisation dans le corps des directeurs de recherche en fin de contrat. Ces 53 chaires correspondent à 43 nouvelles chaires ouvertes pour la première fois en 2024, complétées par 10 chaires ouvertes les années précédentes mais que le CNRS avait décidé de ne pas pourvoir, faute de dossiers de candidature jugés assez convaincants par les jurys. Les candidatures sont ouvertes du 14 février 2024 au 20 mars 2024, 23h59 heure de Paris.
