For early career researchers, with a research record but who have not yet held a full-time permanent academic post, to undertake a significant piece of publishable work
Fellowships can be held at UK universities with research degree awarding powers.
The Fellowships are intended to assist those at a relatively early stage of their academic careers, and it is hoped that the appointment would lead to a more permanent position for the individual, either within the same or another university.

Up to 15 AIAS-COFUND II Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowships are available at the Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies (AIAS), and AU researchers are encouraged to activate their international networks to make them aware of the opportunities in Aarhus.

ISER Postdoctoral Fellowships are available, on a competitive basis, to researchers from Memorial University or elsewhere who have completed their doctorate within six years of the March 1st application deadline date. During the tenure of the fellowship, researchers must be in residence at Memorial University under the supervision of a faculty member from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Fellowships normally start on September 1st of the year in which they are awarded and end on August 31st of the following year.
