Each year, EIEF issues two calls for visiting positions for the following year. The first call, with a deadline at the end of June, is the main one, as most office space and funding are allocated then. The second call, with a deadline at the end of December, allocates any remaining desks and funds.

The Yale University Department of History invites applications for a Cassius Marcellus Clay Postdoctoral Fellowship in United States environmental history. The fellow will be affiliated with Yale Environmental History and the Yale Environmental Humanities Initiative and is expected to participate in their activities and to teach one course during the two years of the fellowship.
