The Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department at Washington University in St. Louis seeks to fill a two-year post-doctoral appointment to begin in the 2017-18 academic year in the field of gender and sexuality studies.  We are particularly interested in scholars who have training in social science methodologies and whose work engages one of the following fields:  Ethnic Studies, Latin American Studies, African Studies, Asian Studies, or transnational studies.

The China Institute at the University of Alberta is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in Chinese studies for the 2016-2017 academic year. Scholars conducting research in China-related humanities and social sciences who have received their doctorate in the last four years or expect to receive their doctorate degree before August 31, 2016 are invited to apply.

In providing Humboldt Research Fellowships for postdoctoral researchers, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation enables highly-qualified scientists and scholars from abroad who are just embarking on their academic careers and who completed their doctorates less than four years ago to spend extended periods of research (6–24 months) in Germany. Scientists and scholars from all disciplines and countries may apply.

The Association for the Study of Persianate Societies (ASPS) and the Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) are pleased to announce the second year of the ASPS/MANUU Visiting Scholar Fellowship, beginning in the 2016-2017 academic year.

Scholars applying to the ASPS/MANUU Visiting Scholar Fellowship will be attached to the H.K.Sherwani Centre for Deccan Studies at the Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad.
