Research Fellowships at the Birmingham Research Institute for History and Cultures

The newly-founded Birmingham Research Institute for History and Cultures (BRIHC) wishes to appoint two outstanding early career scholars to its two-year 2016 Fellowships. The period and topic of study is open, but candidates must clearly show how their proposed scheme of work relates to research currently undertaken within the School of History and Cultures (SHaC) – which includes African Studies, Archaeology, History, and Classics.

[PEGASUS]² Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowships in Flanders

With the INCOMING [PEGASUS]² Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowships the FWO wishes to attract excellent postdoctoral researchers to the Flemish Community in order to contribute to the improvement of Flemish research on the one hand and to the internationalization of research in general on the other hand. Moreover, the FWO aims to provide these INCOMING [PEGASUS]² MSCA fellows the unique opportunity to further develop their research career by offering them an international research experience in an attractive research framework.

CCS Chinese Studies Research Grants in Taiwan

The Center for Chinese Studies (CCS) has the following provisions for its research grant program.

This program is aim at foreign professors, associate professors, assistant professors (including post-doctoral researchers) and doctoral candidates in departments related to Chinese studies at foreign universities, as well as researchers at related foreign academic institutes. 

The research should be undertaken in Taiwan, and be focused mainly on Taiwan or Chinese studies.
