Postdoctoral Fellowship at MPI Berlin: "Ideals and Practices of Rationality"

The Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in Berlin, Department II (Lorraine Daston), announces one postdoctoral fellowship starting date September 1, 2016 – ending date: June 30, 2019.

Outstanding scholars no more than three years past the award of their doctorates are invited to apply.

The fellowships will be awarded in conjunction with the research projects of the Department.

National Library of Australia Fellowships

The National Library of Australia, in partnership with its generous sponsors and donors, offers researchers an opportunity to undertake a three month residency at the Library. Applicants may work in any field or discipline where the Library’s collections have appropriate depth and breadth to support the desired outcomes. Fellows become part of the Library’s community of staff and scholars, including an alumni group of 150 eminent Harold White and National Library Fellows.

UNU-IAS offers Postdoctoral Fellowships to recent PhD graduates to provide them with the opportunity to put the knowledge and expertise acquired during their doctoral research to practical policy-relevant use. The purpose of the UNU-IAS Postdoctoral Fellowship is to provide young scholars and policymakers, especially from the developing world, with a multidisciplinary context within which to pursue advanced research and training that are of professional interest to the applicant and of direct relevance to the research agenda of UNU-IAS.
