MPIWG POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP┋Knowledge Systems and Collective Life

The Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (MPIWG) is an internationally respected research institute of the Max Planck Society (MPG) with three research departments, several research groups, and a graduate school. At the MPIWG, around three hundred scholars from all over the world investigate the sciences past and present, working together on a collective, collaborative, and transdisciplinary basis. The MPIWG is renowned worldwide as a hub for reflection on the role of the sciences in politics and society.

Global Perspective on Society Postdoctoral Fellow

 

NYU Shanghai invites applications for a two-year Teaching Fellowship for Global Perspectives on Society beginning the 2025-26 academic year. This residential fellowship entails teaching responsibilities in the fall semesters; the spring semesters are devoted to the fellow’s self-directed research and writing. NYU Shanghai seeks to appoint a team of Teaching Fellows that will further diversify NYU Shanghai’s instructional faculty.

Ebrahimi Fellowship for Persian Art

The Ebrahimi Fellowship for Persian Art promotes excellence in research and publication on Persian art from the ancient to the contemporary period. Fellowships support research at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art in Washington, DC. Research proposals are evaluated in terms of merit, originality, methodology, and potential for significant publication that will advance scholarly and public understanding of Persian visual arts. Interdisciplinary proposals with a primary focus on Iranian visual arts will be considered.
