Dumbarton Oaks invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join a team working to provide comprehensive access to photographic and archival documentation of the Byzantine world held by Dumbarton Oaks’ Image Collections and Fieldwork Archives (ICFA), which holds more than a million unique items in a variety of media, including extensive material relating to the art and architecture of the late Antique and Medieval eastern Mediterranean.

Thanks to the generosity of President Emerita Lorna Marsden, the Robarts Centre for Canadian Studies hosted Robarts Visiting Professors in Canadian Studies from 2015-16 to 2019-20. The Professorship was open to full-time (tenured or tenure-track) faculty members working on issues concerning Canada, based outside the country, with demonstrated scholarly expertise on Canada and a commitment to Canadian studies.

The Professorship continues to provide the selected faculty member with $2500 CAD to assist in covering travel and accommodations costs while in residence.

The University proposes to appoint a new McDonald Post-Doctoral Fellow in Christian Ethics & Public Life. The McDonald Fellow will be a full member of the Faculty of Theology & Religion and be attached to and work within the McDonald Centre for Theology, Ethics, and Public Life.

Applications are invited for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford.  This post is fixed-term for 3 years and is part of the research project Quantum Measurement, Locality, and Reality in High Energy Experiments, funded by the John Templeton Foundation. The project will explore the foundations of quantum mechanics at high energies, bringing together collaborators in the University of Oxford’s Department of Physics and Faculty of Philosophy.
