Short-term postgraduate Arno-Borst Scholarships

The Monumenta Germaniae Historica (MGH) are proud to offer two short-term scholarships for post-doctoral researchers for the year 2023 funded by the Arno-Borst Foundation. The scholarships entail a research sojourn in Munich for the period of three months with a monthly stipend of 2000€. Applications will be received from Germany and abroad. To be eligible, applicants must have already completed their Ph.D. in Medieval History or the „Historische Wissenschaften“(palaeography, diplomatics, epigraphics and related studies), ideally with a thesis related to editions.

The College for Social Sciences and Humanities is an Institute for Advanced Study established in 2021 as part of the Research Alliance Ruhr, a joint initiative of the University of Duisburg-Essen, Ruhr University Bochum and TU Dortmund University under the umbrella of the University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr).

Postdoctoral positions in the YOUTHPOL research project

The Department of Political Science at Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University, invites applications for one or more 2-year fulltime postdoctoral positions to join a new research project on political parties and their youth wings. The project is directed by associate professor, Henrik Bech Seeberg.

The starting date is February 1st, 2024 but can be flexible subject to mutual agreement.

George W. Bush Institute Post-Doctoral Fellowship

The William P. Clements Department of History and the Center for Presidential History at Southern Methodist University invite applications and nominations for the SMU-George W. Bush Institute Post-Doctoral Fellowship, an appointment that will begin September 1, 2023. This is an opportunity to be involved in the launch of a new Global Oral History of PEPFAR project, as well as for the fellow to advance their skills in oral history and learn with a committed community of historians, librarians, and archivists.
