Comme chaque année, Eusko Ikaskuntza – Société d'Études Basques – en partenariat avec la Ville de Biarritz, lance un appel à candidatures pour attribuer des bourses visant à encourager les travaux de recherche consacrés au Pays basque et à la culture basque dans son acception la plus large, toutes disciplines confondues. 

Ces bourses sont ouvertes aux étudiants de master et de doctorat, ainsi qu'aux chercheurs indépendants et aux vidéastes. Pour déposer une candidature, il convient de remplir le formulaire ci-joint et de fournir les pièces demandées.

The Foundation fiat panis supports young scientists whose work focuses on helping to reduce hunger and malnutrition in developing countries. From 1986 to 2009, the Eiselen Foundation awarded the science prize every two years, since 2010 the Foundation fiat panis succeeded with awarding the prize.

Practitioners and policymakers in the peacebuilding field often focus on studying the causes and consequences of conflict at the expense of examining the causes of peace. To help societies to become more peaceful, it is necessary to have a better understanding of why some regions, countries, states or communities are able to prevent, mitigate and resolve violent conflict, while others are not.

Getty Pre- and Postdoctoral Fellowships are intended for emerging researchers to complete work on projects related to the Scholars Program’s annual theme. While in residence, fellows may pursue research projects, complete dissertations, or expand dissertations for publication. There are dedicated grants for fellows who are expanding critical inquiry of African American art and its frameworks as part of the Getty’s African American Art History Initiative (AAAHI).

The Getty Scholars Program supports innovative research about art, conceived in the broadest terms, and its histories, by providing a locus for international scholars to forge collaborations across disciplines and professional practices, while also developing new audiences for their work. During their residency, the scholar cohort is immersed in a vibrant local community devoted to the advancement of knowledge and hosted at an institution committed to preserving, understanding, interpreting, and sharing its vast library and collections.

We are pleased to announce the details of our expanded and enhanced 2018 InterAsia Program Transregional Research Fellowships program, funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and will be accepting applications until September 27, 2017.

The School for Advanced Research (SAR) presents the J. I. Staley Prize to a living author for a book that exemplifies outstanding scholarship and writing in anthropology. The award recognizes innovative works that go beyond traditional frontiers and dominant schools of thought in anthropology and add new dimensions to our understanding of the human species. It honors books that cross subdisciplinary boundaries within anthropology and reach out in new and expanded interdisciplinary directions.
