ANR Industrial Chairs

The aim of this program is threefold:

• To conduct and structure scientific research in strategic and priority areas via an effective and lasting partnership between public and private organisms.
• To allow internationally renowned French or foreign researchers to develop and deepen their expertise and spearhead pioneering research in strong collaboration with industry.
• To provide quality-committed research-oriented training by making the vision, methodologies and experience of private actors available to doctoral or post-doctoral researchers in high-level public research laboratories.

This program involves a call for proposals in all research areas on themes jointly defined from the outset by the public and private parties.

Funding will be provided for up to 48 months. ANR funding will be matched with funding from private companies (liquid capital disbursed to the host institution).
