Agence de recherche de Slovénie (ARRS)

The Slovenian Research Agency (SRA) performs professional, development and executive tasks relating to the National Research and Development Programme. SRA operates in line with its status within the national budget and promotes research and development activities. The Agency carries out its legally determined duties; tasks in the public interest, providing permanent, professional and independent decision-making on the selection of programmes and projects, financed from the state budget and other financial sources. The key policy objectives of the SRA are: to achieve excellence in sciences and strengthen applied research; to strengthen the cooperation between research community and business; and to strengthen bilateral and multilateral international cooperation in R&D.
