Centre d'études avancées Campinas

The Center for Advanced Studies has been set up in March 2010, aiming at encouraging and supporting activities towards creative knowledge, at the highest level. It also aims at fostering the discussion of strategies for the social and scholarly development and contributing also at the growing international interaction of Unicamp with Brazilian and foreign partners. The first four themes chosen to be explored are higher education, sports, Chinese/Brazilian relations and the challenges of the contemporaneous. The main tenets of the center are excellence, freedom and originality of academic scholarship.
