The Departments of Classics and Near Eastern Languages and Cultures at The Ohio State University invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in the area of the Late Ancient Near East (200-900 AD), to join a large interdepartmental faculty cooperating on research and teaching in this field. This Postdoctoral Fellowship is funded by the American Council of Learned Societies and the Arts and Humanities Discovery Theme at The Ohio State University.

The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) and the Department of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia invite applications for an Emerging Curatorial Postdoctoral Fellowship with a focus on Latin America to begin as early as June 1, 2016. The fellowship, funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, is open to recent doctoral graduates for one year, with possibility of renewal for another year. Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience; the minimum salary is $45,000 per year plus benefits. In addition, the postdoctoral fellow will be provided with some travel/research funds.

Burton Postdoctoral Fellowship in history, a teaching and research position honoring Dr. Burton, a model teacher-scholar at SJU for over fifty years. The Burton Fellowship is a one-year appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor of History, beginning Fall 2016 with potential renewal for up to two additional years.
