Villa Vigoni - Centro Italo-Tedesco

Villa Vigoni is a laboratory of ideas, a landmark for dialogue and collaboration between Italy and Germany within the European context. 

Academic conventions, international conferences and cultural events make Villa Vigoni a place for coming together and discussion, a place for promoting projects and learning more about scientific, political, economic and artistic matters. 

International partnerships

Together with Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) and Fondation Maison des sciences de l’homme (FMSH), Villa Vigoni promotes international scientific collaboration and the creation of new networks of researchers, experts and young people in the field of humanities and social science. It has therefore developed and implemented two conference programme formats with different characteristics ‒ one bilateral (Italy-Germany) and one trilateral (Italy-Germany-France). The initiatives that take place within the framework of these two formats are held at Villa Vigoni following an application process regulated by an annual competition.
