Call illustration

Applications are open to scientists of all disciplines and to artists, junior or senior, who propose a research project related to one of the axes of the Interdisciplinary Explorations program.

For artistic research projects, IMéRA gives artist-researchers a long period of time, the time of research, because the Institute recognizes the dimension of thought inherent in artistic practice. This residency allows for contact with a vast community of researchers from all disciplines, access to diverse resources (documentary, theoretical, methodological, etc.) and even immersion in the laboratory and in scientific research fields. This is not a residency for the production of a work or an exhibition, but a space for intellectual elaboration and experimentation free of constraints related to the final result. IMéRA does not have a workshop and does not have a production manager on its team.

Applications deadline: October 17 2022 1 pm (Paris time)

Duration of residencies:  10 months

Suggested periods of residencies: From September 4 2023 to July 5 2024.
