The Smart Loire Valley Programme aims to support high-quality research and international collaborative research projects, to build human capacity and scientific knowledge for research, development and innovation by attracting talented, highly qualified researchers worldwide and from all academic disciplines. Researchers have to embody, in their profile, the key words that capture the research values of LE STUDIUM: Curiosity, Imagination and Intuition. The annual call for applications is open from October each year to January the next year.

L’objectif principal est l’accompagnement et le développement, à court et moyen terme, de la recherche publique vers l’excellence, en favorisant le transfert de technologies et de connaissances et la création d’activité sur le territoire Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.

L’intervention régionale en soutien à la recherche publique se décline en 2 volets principaux :

This call is specifically addressed to fellows holding a doctorate degree delivered by a non-French institution. Candidates promoting an original and innovative research project in one of the scientific priorities of IdEx université de Bordeaux will be considered with particular attention.

Applications are open to all scientific fields. However, IdEx université de Bordeaux is built on a number of scientific priorities and proposals in these areas or at the interfaces between them will be examined with particular attention. Candidates bringing new skills to develop emerging research areas and researchers with an industrial background are welcome to apply.

The Junior Research Fellowship Program aims at jumpstarting the career of young Thai researchers by giving them the opportunity to develop promising collaboration with their French counterparts.

This program supports Thai post doctorates, graduated in 2014 or after, who are lecturers or researchers in public or private institutions intending to conduct a research project of two (2) to six (6) months within a French laboratory. All fields of research will be considered and the selection will be made based on the criteria of excellence.

Depuis février 2017, le projet Nantes Excellence Trajectory (NEXT) permet à l’Université de Nantes et à ses partenaires d’étendre leur renommée au plan international pour leur expertise en recherche, formation et innovation sur une question sociétale majeure et interdisciplinaire ayant un effet d’entrainement sur les sciences fondamentales et sciences humaines et sociales :

Dans le cadre de son programme Metchnikov d’aide à la mobilité des chercheurs, l’Ambassade de France en Fédération de Russie attribue pour l’année 2023 des bourses à des chercheurs russes invités à travailler dans une équipe de recherche française, rattachée à un établissement d’enseignement supérieur, un organisme de recherche ou une entreprise, pour une durée de 1 à 3 mois. Toutes les disciplines scientifiques sont concernées.

Connect Talent vise à soutenir l’installation et l'ancrage de leaders scientifiques de renommée internationale, projetant d’arriver seuls ou avec une équipe, porteurs de projets en rupture dont l’objectif est de relever des défis scientifiques ou technologiques majeurs de notre époque et dont les impacts sociétaux et économiques sont incontestables.

Il doit s’agir d’un projet audacieux, capable d’accélérer significativement le développement d’une thématique existante, considérée comme stratégique sur le territoire régional.

Avec le soutien chinois de la Sheng Yen Education Foundation (Taiwan), le Centre d’études interdisciplinaires sur le  bouddhisme (CEIB) propose un contrat postdoctoral (21 mois) en 2018 à de jeunes docteurs travaillant sur le bouddhisme chinois (汉传佛教). Le CEIB est un centre français consacré aux études sur le bouddhisme, toutes disciplines scientifiques réunies.
