Brocher Foundation┋Call for workshops

Workshops may have a maximum of 30 participants of which 12 participants (including a minimum of 6 coming from European countries) will be entirely sponsored by the Foundation (travel, accommodation, and catering). 

Travel Grant

The Brocher Foundation offers a grant of up to a maximum of CHF 6000 to cover the travel expenses of 12 participants.

       a) The grant covers only air/railway travel costs and cannot be allocated to other costs (such as taxis).

       b) CHF 3000 will be paid when the proposal is selected.

Gledden Visiting Fellowship

The Gledden Visiting Fellowships are part of the estate bequeathed to the University by Robert John Gledden (1855-1927).

The purpose of this Fellowship is to support global research collaborations by providing funding to bring outstanding researchers to UWA to conduct research with a UWA host.

Gledden Visiting Fellowships are open to researchers who have doctoral degrees or equivalent qualifications or experience, and who are mid-career or senior researchers.

The Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics are inviting applications for a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant (PDRA) post on the project 'Leading Women in Portuguese and Spanish Cinema and Television,1970-1980' (https://leadingwomenproject.com/), a project that investigates the roles of women in Spanish and Portuguese film and television industries. This project is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and is led by Prof. Sally Faulkner.

Postdoctoral Fellowship in Religion and the Public Conversation

The Center for Culture, Society and Religion at Princeton University invites applications for one Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) position for a one-year term anticipated to begin on September 1, 2025, with some limited flexibility. This appointment may be renewed pending satisfactory performance and funding. Candidates for the PDRA rank are expected to be recent PhDs specializing in the study of religion in any discipline and should display interest and expertise in public-facing scholarship on religion.
