A fundamental prerequisite for a grant is that project staff conduct their own research, which is published under their name. The simultaneous receipt of salary or retirement pension and a research scholarship is not possible.
The Center for Global Development (CGD) is now accepting applications for its Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship program. The Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship is a one-year term appointment running from mid-2020 to mid-2021, with the precise dates flexible. The position is intended for new graduates of PhD programs in the social sciences but is also open to faculty members interested in spending a year conducting research at CGD.
