The Center for Research on Race and Ethnicity in Society (CRRES) at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for up to two CRRES Postdoctoral Fellowships. These fellowships provide support to scholars studying race and ethnicity from a broad range of fields in the social sciences and humanities, especially in the areas of education, public and environmental affairs, art and design, business, law, and media.

The Program in Law and Public Affairs (LAPA) at Princeton invites outstanding faculty members of any discipline, independent scholars, lawyers, and judges to apply for residential fellowships for 2020-2021. LAPA Fellows devote the major portion of their time to their own research and writing on law-related subjects of empirical, interpretive, doctrinal and/or normative significance.

Recipients of all fellowships are expected to be in continuous residence at The Huntington and to participate in, and contribute to, its intellectual life. Long-term fellows are expected to present at a two-day introductory symposium in September and to participate in weekly working group sessions from October to May.

Through the Climate School Postdoctoral Research program, Columbia University’s Climate School supports the scholarship needed to tackle climate change and its related global challenges. The Climate School works to offer solutions through transdisciplinary research, partnerships, education, innovative technology, building knowledge, and the sharing of ideas.

The Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation invites postdoctoral students who will be completing or will have recently completed a Ph.D. to apply for its Postdoctoral Democracy Fellowship. The Democracy Fellowships aim to support postdoctoral scholars whose research illuminates aspects of democratic governance in ways that are innovative and push the boundaries of their academic disciplines, whether political theory and philosophy, political science, sociology, law, or history.

The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies is pleased to offer fellowships to support significant research and writing about the Holocaust and related topics for projects that will benefit from a period of residence at the Museum and access to its resources. We welcome proposals from all relevant academic disciplines, including — but not limited to—anthropology, archaeology, art history, comparative genocide studies, film studies, geography, history, Jewish studies, law, material culture, religious studies, philosophy, political science, and psychology.
