IAS Visiting Fellowships support visits of from ten days to ten weeks in order to enrich the academic life of the University and create lasting links with established academics and other high-profile figures from around the globe. These fellowships advance the mission of the IAS by bringing new expertise and knowledge to Warwick in order to share it with an interdisciplinary audience of researchers and to create ongoing research collaborations.
The Young Academy for Sustainability Research (YAS) seeks to foster cross-disciplinary cooperation between distinguished young scholars in the field of sustainability research. The Department of Sociology seeks to appoint two Postdoctoral Research Fellows (PRFs) in Sociology, commencing in September 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. One position is intended for a researcher with a primarily quantitative focus and the other with a primarily qualitative focus.
The Institute for Ethics in AI at the University of Oxford proposes to elect three Visiting Fellows each academic year. The Visiting Fellowship is intended to offer an established scholar in an AI-related field who graduated with their doctorate at least 5 years ago the opportunity to engage in a project related to the ethics of Artificial Intelligence. The length of tenure of the fellowship is one academic term (three months). Applications are encouraged from candidates from all countries and all universities.
