After a successful thirty-year program and 447 awarded fellowships, the Abe Fellowship Program will no longer be accepting applications. The CGP and the SSRC will work together to ensure the legacy of this program and that Abe Fellows will have the opportunity to form international collaborations in the future. The George F. Kennan Fellowships were established in 2015 with the goal of supporting experts from diverse, policy-oriented sectors such as media, business, local government, law, civil society, and academia to examine important political, social, economic, cultural, and historical issues in Russia, Ukraine, and the region. Among the aims of the new fellowships are to build bridges between traditional academia and the policy world, as well as to maintain and increase collaboration among researchers from Russia, Ukraine, the US, and beyond.
Applications for the 2025–26 academic year on the theme of New Frontiers in Contemporary Jewish Life: Cultural Expansions, Encounters, and Experiments are open until November 11, 2024. Ever since the Peace Research Grants Fund was created in 2002, IPRAF has awarded grants to help fund peace research projects in places as diverse as Argentina, Bosnia, inner city communities in the United States, the Middle East, the Philippines, the Punjab, and Uganda. Initié en 2009 par la Drees et la CNSA le programme de recherche Handicap et perte d’autonomie se poursuit. Mis en œuvre depuis 2012 par l’IReSP, il comprendra pour l’édition 2018, quatre appels à projets financés par la CNSA :
Each year, the Foundation awards twelve scholarships (two of them in cooperation with the Reinhard Frank-Foundation) to selected postdoc researchers, junior professors, and heads of junior research groups. The objective is to reinforce the autonomy and creativity of the up-and-coming generation of scientists and to pave the way for the committed researchers’ careers during their productive postdoc phase.
