IIAS Open Call for Individual Fellowships

The IIAS invites scholars from Israel and abroad to submit proposals for an individual fellowship at the IIAS for the 2027-2028 academic year. Topics may cover any research area from any discipline and must seek to be innovative, with the potential to impact research in the field. Two or three scholars who collaborate on the same project should apply individually and state clearly that they wish to work together.

Russkiy Mir Foundation Grants for Russian Studies

Russkiy Mir Foundation grants are available in the form of a conditional cash transfer (CCT), provided irretrievably and at no cost on a competitive basis to organizations and entities under the terms and conditions provided by the Foundation, and with obligatory reporting about the appropriate use of the funds received (hereinafter – the Report).

The application for a the Russkiy Mir Foundation grant must be filled out in Russian language.

Research Grants in Taiwan Studies

Full-time faculty at academic institutions are eligible to apply for research grants. Priority will be given to collaborative projects involving institutions in Taiwan. Projects on Taiwan Studies are especially encouraged. Research grants are usually given for no more than three years and should not exceed EUR120,000 for a three-year period. Grant funds may not be used to pay salaries to directors or co-directors, or to cover teaching relief.
