On June 10 2026, our archives at the Historical Archives of the European Union (HAEU) will open up to the public. To encourage research into our historical holdings at the HAEU, we will open a new annual Fellowship programme on June 10.

This ECF Fellowship aims to foster new research and creative work engaging with the history of the European Cultural Foundation and the broader role of culture in shaping Europe as a shared space of imagination, cooperation, and solidarity.

Winter Fellows will join us in London from 18 January to 9 April 2027.

Seasonal Fellowships are three-month opportunities designed to accelerate or launch impactful careers in AI governance and policy. Participants in the Research Track conduct a research project of their choice. They also participate in expert Q&As and a seminar series aimed at developing a broad understanding of the field, and spend time forging connections with other researchers and practitioners.
