Partir à l’international

The Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (MPIWG) is an internationally respected research institute of the Max Planck Society (MPG) with currently two research departments, several research groups, and a graduate school. At the MPIWG, around 150 scholars from all over the world investigate the sciences past and present, working together on a collective, collaborative, and transdisciplinary basis. The MPIWG is renowned worldwide as a hub for reflection on the role of the sciences in politics and society.

For more than 50 years, the Vrije Universiteit Brussel has stood for freedom, equality and solidarity, and this is very much alive on our campuses among students and staff alike. 

About the project

The Maria Sibylla Merian Center for Advanced Latin American Studies (CALAS), headquarters Guadalajara and CALAS/CIAS Bielefeld University are accepting applications for up to four short-term fellowships for qualified researchers in the following program areas:

Profil du poste

Le poste est destiné à une chercheure ou un chercheur postdoctorant spécialisé en études bouddhiques. Les projets associant des centres et des chercheurs de l'École française d'Extrême-Orient sont encouragés. La mobilité n'est pas impérative.

La connaissance d’une ou plusieurs langues asiatiques permettant de travailler sur les sources primaires sera appréciée.

La période de candidature pour la Résidence Médicis (toutes disciplines) est ouverte du 19 janvier 2026 à 12h00 au 23 février 2026 à 12h00 (midi, heure de France métropolitaine).
