Evidence is needed on how the RRI approach, in particular the opening up of the innovation process to social actors, can improve the development process and the quality of the final outcomes of research and innovation in the industrial context. Existing initiatives such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) have set first steps but improved business governance is needed that deeply embeds creativity, scalability, responsiveness, "glocality", circularity and societal engagement.

Specific Challenge

L’Académie des sciences et le National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) décernent chaque année un Grand prix scientifique franco-taïwanais à un binôme de chercheurs - l’un exerçant dans une institution taïwanaise et l’autre dans une institution française - afin de distinguer la qualité de leurs contributions et réalisations scientifiques communes, ainsi que leur engagement à poursuivre et à développer ensemble leurs travaux de recherche.

Le prix est doté d’un montant de 40 000 €, réparti à parts égales entre les deux Lauréats.
