Visiting senior fellowships provide scholars with two-month appointments to conduct full-time research in residence at the Center. Fellows receive an office in the National Gallery’s East Building as well as housing, subject to availability. They have access to the notable resources of the National Gallery, including its library and art collection, as well as those of greater Washington. Fellows participate in lectures, colloquia, and discussions with the Center’s vibrant community of scholars.

IAST aims to be the home of academic experimentation and freedom, where top-flight researchers are able to explore new territory in a cross-disciplinary direction and interact with IAST faculty, post-doctoral Research Fellows, and other visitors in an exciting environment. Over the past 3 years IAST has welcomed more than 20 visiting fellows from 10 disiciplines and 11 countries.

Dans le cadre du champ d’action 2 « La formation, l’attraction et l’accompagnement des TALENTS» de sa feuille de route 3.0 (2021-2024), la fondation A*Midex lance le 7eme appel du programme « Chaire d’Excellence ».
À travers ce programme, A*Midex ambitionne de recruter et de favoriser la carrière académique des enseignants, enseignants-chercheurs et des chercheurs de rang international, sur des projets structurants contribuant à la stratégie du site d’Aix-Marseille.

La Fondation Michel Serres / Institut de France, créée en 2019 à l’initiative du philosophe et de
son éditrice Sophie Bancquart, a entrepris la publication d’une édition de ses Œuvres complètes. Elle
dispose d’une masse importante d’archives, parmi lesquelles de nombreux textes inédits qui pourront
trouver leur place dans cette édition.

La direction de cette entreprise a été confiée à trois philosophes : Bernadette Bensaude-Vincent, Roland
Schaer et Frédéric Worms.
