Par le lancement de cet appel à projets, la Direction régionale Caraïbe de l’Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) souhaite apporter un cofinancement initial à des projets de recherche portant sur des priorités régionales de développement, dotés d’une dimension internationale, et dont le potentiel de pérennisation est déjà évident.

Objectifs

Cet appel, qui s’adresse à des chercheurs rattachés à des institutions universitaires membres de l’AUF dans la Caraïbe, vise les objectifs suivants :

HARMONIA is a funding opportunity designed for researchers wanting to carry out research in the following forms:

• in cooperation with foreign partners,
• within the framework of international programmes or initiatives announced under bi- or multilateral cooperation,
• utilising large-scale international research infrastructure.

Duration 

12, 24, 36 months

SONATA is a funding opportunity intended to support the Principal Investigator in conducting innovative basic research, using advanced research equipment and/or an original methodology.

Eligible applicants

The Principal Investigator should be about to embark on a career in research with a doctoral degree obtained within 2-7 years of submission of the proposal.

The National Science Centre (NCN) has launched the SONATA BIS 14 call for research projects aiming to create a new research team to conduct basic research. The call is addressed at researchers with a PhD degree conferred within 5 to 12 years prior to the proposal submission year.

Researchers may receive funds to cover remuneration for the research team members, including scholarships for students and PhD students, purchase or manufacturing of research equipment and for other costs crucial to the research project.
